Eventuri Gen3 Carbon Intake System - BMW G2X M40i B58N2 (2025+ 48V Mild Hybrid)
The 2025 refresh gave the B58 a new name and a 48V mild-hybrid system. Eventuri gave it an intake to match. The Gen3 G2X carbon intake is a ground-up design for the updated B58TU2 platform, built on the same principles that made Eventuri's earlier B58 systems a benchmark: a fully sealed pre-preg carbon fiber airbox, a smooth-bore carbon inlet tube, and a high-flow cone filter engineered to work together rather than cobbled from universal parts.
One thing to know before you order: this system is designed exclusively for 2025+ G2X models with the 48V Mild-Hybrid B58TU2 engine. It does not fit earlier B58 or B58TU1 configurations. Confirm your vehicle's production date and engine variant before purchasing.
How It Works
The sealed carbon airbox draws from two independent cold-air sources. The primary feed pulls from the front of the engine bay. A secondary duct taps the wheel arch area, adding ambient air volume without exposing the filter to engine heat. From the filter, airflow moves through an 111mm-ID smooth-bore carbon inlet tube that replaces the restrictive factory plastic tract. The continuous internal surface and gradual geometry reduce turbulence and pressure drop before air reaches the turbocharger. A gold reflective heat shield surrounds the assembly, deflecting radiant heat from adjacent engine components and keeping intake temperatures consistent through extended hard driving.

- Remove factory airbox and intake tract
- Install CNC-machined breather adapters and temperature sensor mount to existing factory locations
- Position carbon airbox using OEM mounting points and laser-cut stainless brackets
- Connect carbon inlet tube to turbo inlet and route both cold-air feeds
- Fit gold heat shield and confirm all sensor connections are secure
