Eventuri Carbon Intake System - BMW G2X / G42 M40i B58 (Post-Nov 2018 Non-Hybrid)
The Eventuri B58 carbon intake is a complete high-flow induction upgrade engineered for BMW B58-powered vehicles produced Post-November 2018. Covering the G20 M340i, G22/G23/G26 M440i, and G42 M240i, the system combines a sealed pre-preg carbon fiber airbox, dual cold-air feeds, a smooth carbon inlet tube, and a high-flow dry filter to reduce restriction while keeping intake air temperatures in check.
Important before ordering: this system is designed for vehicles produced Post-November 2018 and is not compatible with 2025+ 48V Mild-Hybrid B58N2 models. If your car is a 2025 or newer G2X with the mild-hybrid system, see the Eventuri Gen3 B58N2 intake instead. Verify your production date and engine configuration before purchasing.
How It Works
Turbocharged engines are sensitive to both intake restriction and elevated air temperatures. The fully sealed carbon airbox isolates the filter from radiant engine-bay heat while pulling cool air from two independent sources: a primary feed from the front of the engine bay and a secondary duct from the wheel arch area. From the filter, airflow moves through a smooth pre-preg carbon inlet tube that replaces the restrictive factory plastic tract. The continuous internal surface and gradual geometry reduce turbulence and pressure drop before air reaches the turbocharger. A gold reflective heat shield surrounds the assembly to deflect radiant heat from adjacent engine components during sustained hard driving.

Installation Notes
No permanent modification required. Installs using OEM mounting points with all hardware included. Professional installation recommended.
- Remove factory airbox and intake tract
- Install CNC-machined breather adapters and temperature sensor mount to existing factory locations
- Position carbon airbox using OEM mounting points and laser-cut stainless brackets
- Connect carbon inlet tube to turbo inlet via OEM-spec silicone reducer and route both cold-air feeds
- Fit gold heat shield and confirm all sensor connections are secure
