If you've fitted a larger aftermarket exhaust to your G8X M3 or M4, you've probably already run into the reason this part exists. The factory underbody brace was sized around the stock exhaust, and anything with a bigger diameter starts competing for the same real estate, sometimes as a scrape, sometimes as a rattle at the wrong angle, sometimes as just not enough room to run the system you actually want.

MMX Performance built this brace to remove that constraint entirely. Machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum rather than the factory's stamped steel, it opens up 15mm of additional clearance right where you need it, without touching your ride height to get there. Every gram of unnecessary material is cut from the profile, so the brace ends up lighter than stock despite being far stronger, and that added rigidity reinforces a genuinely structural section of the chassis. The result shows up as tighter, more composed handling under load, whether that's a track day or just a spirited backroad.

It bolts straight into the factory mounting points, so there's no cutting, drilling, or fabrication involved, and no permanent commitment either.
