The Macht Schnell Stage 2 Intake Charge Kit is the complete cold-air intake solution for the BMW E9X M3's S65B40 V8 — combining Intake Charge Scoops, an Intake Charge Pipe, and a high-flow cotton gauze filter in one matched system. Where Stage 1 upgrades the filter and scoops, Stage 2 adds the ICP: a polyethylene replacement for the factory accordion elbow with 18% greater internal volume and a smooth, polished interior bore that eliminates turbulence at the manifold entry point.
The ICP retains the factory PCV system via an embedded 6061-T6 anodized aluminum inlet, so there are no compromises to engine management or crankcase ventilation. Heavy-duty rubber couplers and European worm clamps seal the system through engine movement. Stage 2 delivers 8–12 hp gains over a Stage 1 setup with a deeper, more aggressive intake sound.
