When you install aftermarket coilovers on the BMW E9X M3, E60 M5, or E63 M6, the factory EDC (Electronic Damper Control) system throws fault codes because it can no longer monitor the shocks it expects. The Macht Schnell EDC Emulation Module plugs into the factory EDC harness and convinces the system that active dampers are still present, eliminating fault codes without requiring dealer coding or wiring changes.

The module installs in under 15 minutes via the existing EDC connectors and can be activated or deactivated through the onboard mini USB port — useful if you swap between suspension setups. Works with both iDrive and non-iDrive E9X M3 configurations, and fully supports the S65 V8 (M3), S85 V10 (M5), and S85 V10 (M6). Note: this module disables EDC monitoring entirely. Intended for track and dedicated race use only — not recommended for street-driven vehicles.
