The E46 M3 is the car that defined an era of driver-focused sports cars, and it still sets the benchmark for analog feedback in a package you can daily drive. If you own one, you already know every flaw and every strength. The suspension is the one area where KW can hand you something the factory did not -- meaningful adjustability without sending the car to a professional every time your preferences change.
The V2 adds a 16-click rebound adjuster to each damper, working independently of your ride height setting. The S54 wants to be driven with conviction, and being able to tune how the car settles after a corner without pulling out an alignment shim is exactly the kind of control an E46 M3 owner actually uses. KW calibrates the spring rates specifically for the E46 M3 platform so the system works as a unit, not as a collection of parts that happen to fit.

Installation Notes
Professional installation is recommended. The E46 M3 uses a subframe-mounted rear suspension that requires careful torquing sequence at ride height. A four-wheel alignment is required immediately after installation.
- Set desired ride height before final torque on locking collars
- Torque all suspension fasteners with car at ride height, not suspended on lift
- Perform four-wheel alignment immediately after installation
- Allow 500-mile break-in period before adjusting rebound damping to final preference
