Installation Notes
Straightforward adhesive swap. Surface prep is the only thing that matters here — clean it properly and the bond is permanent.
- Clean the fender surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and allow to fully dry
- If removing an existing emblem, use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive, then work dental floss or fishing line behind the badge — go slowly to avoid paint damage
- Remove any remaining adhesive residue with adhesive remover, then wipe down with IPA again
- Test-fit the new emblem to confirm position and alignment before removing the backing
- Peel the 3M tape backing, apply with firm even pressure, and hold for 60 seconds
