The G16E-GTS does not need help being impressive. What it needs, at stock and modified power levels alike, is for the path between the intake and turbocharger to stop being a restriction. The factory turbo tube was engineered around packaging, noise, and cost. The Eventuri Toyota GR Yaris and GR Corolla carbon turbo inlet tube redesigns that path entirely, with a 70% increase in internal volume, genuine pre-preg carbon fiber construction, and a CNC-machined aluminum flange that fits without compromise.

Construction is where this tube separates itself. Most performance inlet tubes, including some sold as carbon, use a fiberglass substrate to keep costs down. The Eventuri tube uses no fiberglass backing. It is pre-preg carbon fiber throughout, autoclave-cured for a void-free, high-fiber-volume structure that is lighter and stiffer than anything with a composite core. The bespoke nitrile turbo inlet elbow and CNC-machined turbo flange were developed from OEM 3D scan data, so the fitment is exact and the connection to the turbocharger is sealed properly from day one.

The Numbers

Eventuri expanded internal volume from 1,300 cm3 to 2,200 cm3 through an enlarged lower bend geometry ahead of the turbocharger. On the dyno, that translates to up to 14 whp and 19 ft-lb of torque in the mid-range where the G16E-GTS builds boost, and approximately 9 whp and 9 ft-lb at peak RPM. The smooth internal surface finish reduces turbulence further to support earlier boost onset and a more responsive throttle.

Toyota GR Yaris / GR Corolla Fitment

Designed and engineered for the G16E-GTS turbocharged engine platform:

  • Toyota GR Yaris / XP210 (2020-2026)
  • Toyota GR Corolla / E210 (2023-2026)

Installation Notes

This is an engine bay modification requiring removal of factory intake components. Professional installation is recommended if you are not familiar with the GR Yaris or GR Corolla engine bay. Allow the engine to cool fully before beginning. Estimated install time is 1-2 hours.

  1. Allow engine to cool completely before starting
  2. Remove factory airbox and intake components to access the OEM turbo tube
  3. Disconnect any sensors, vacuum lines, or hoses connected to the factory turbo tube
  4. Remove the OEM turbo tube assembly
  5. Position the Eventuri tube and align the CNC flange at the turbocharger inlet
  6. Secure all connections, reconnect sensors and hoses, and torque the flange hardware to spec
  7. Reinstall any removed intake components and start the engine to verify no boost leaks
