The Eisenmann Performance Exhaust is a handcrafted stainless steel rear exhaust system developed for the BMW E89 Z4 sDrive35i and sDrive35is and their twin-turbocharged N54 inline-six. It replaces the restrictive factory rear muffler with a freer-flowing, weight-optimized design that lowers back pressure, sharpens throttle response and gives the E89 Z4 a rich, motorsport-inspired tone that is distinct without becoming overbearing at cruising speed.
Built by hand in Germany from stainless steel with precision TIG welds by the same company that supplies OEM exhaust systems to Porsche and Mercedes-AMG, the E89 system is offered in Sport and Race sound levels. Sport delivers a refined, deeper tone for daily use, while Race produces a louder, more aggressive character. Tips are available as two 90mm or four 76mm round outlets, and the system bolts on at the factory mounting points. Note that the 4x76mm tip style requires modification of the rear bumper.
