Dinan Adjustable Rear Toe Links (Pair) - BMW G20 / G22 / G42 / G29 Z4 and Toyota GR Supra (2019-2026)
SaleBrake hard into a corner on an M340i or a GR Supra and the rear end can feel a little vague, like it is thinking about where to point. Part of that is the factory rear toe links. They use curved forged arms with rubber bushings, and under hard braking and acceleration that rubber lets the rear toe change when you want it to stay put.
Dinan Adjustable Rear Toe Links replace those factory links on the BMW G20 3 Series, G22 4 Series, G42 2 Series, G29 Z4 and Toyota GR Supra with straight billet aluminum rods and Teflon-coated machined steel rod ends. The rubber is gone, the rear stays planted, and the car gains precision and predictability at the limit.
How Dinan Rear Toe Links Stabilize the Rear
Rubber bushings deflect. On the street that is comfort, but at the limit it is movement in the rear geometry. Dinan's straight billet rods and rod ends remove that deflection, so the rear toe stays where your alignment put it. You feel it as better stability under hard braking, hard acceleration and in fast corners.
Concerned about noise or rod ends wearing out on a daily driver? Dinan uses Teflon-lined rod ends for quiet operation and fits rubber boots over them to keep out road grime, so you are not cleaning and greasing joints every weekend.
Rear Toe Link Adjustment and Alignment
Every lowered car eventually needs its rear toe dialed in. With the factory parts that means fighting an eccentric bolt. The Dinan links use a center turnbuckle with left-hand and right-hand threads and a hex-shaped body, so your alignment tech just turns the center to set toe quickly and accurately. Installation Notes
Dinan lists 1.4 hours of labor. A wheel alignment is required after installation. Setting toe is what these links are built for.
- Safely raise and support the rear of the car and remove the rear wheels.
- Unbolt and remove the factory rear toe links.
- Preset the Dinan links to the factory link length before fitting.
- Install the Dinan toe links and torque the mounting bolts with the suspension at ride height.
- Get a four-wheel alignment and set rear toe using the center turnbuckle, then lock the jam nuts.
