The Dinan Performance Spring Set does it the right way: one spring set for the BMW G20 330i, G20 M340i and G22 M440i xDrive, with rates and drops engineered separately for each model and drivetrain. No generic one-size drop. Each car gets the spring its weight and layout actually need.
Why the Dinan Performance Spring Set Is Tuned Per Model
A 330i with a four-cylinder and an M340i xDrive with a six and all-wheel drive sit very differently on their stock springs. Dinan set the drop and rate for each one. That means a firmer, flatter car with less squat on launch and less dive under braking, scaled to what your model started with, not a harsh, over-sprung ride.
Every spring is CNC wound from high-tensile chrome silicon wire, shot-peened for stress relief, and preset so it will not sag over time. They work with both conventional shocks and BMW's factory electronic adaptive shocks, so M Sport adaptive cars keep full drive mode control.

- 330i RWD: 1-1/8" lower front, 3/4" lower rear. 7-95% stiffer front, 34-92% stiffer rear
- 330i xDrive: 5/8" lower front, 3/4" lower rear. 7-95% stiffer front, 34-92% stiffer rear
- M340i RWD: 1" lower front and rear. 15% stiffer front and rear
- M340i xDrive: 1" lower front and rear. Front rate essentially unchanged, 10% stiffer rear
- M440i xDrive: 1-1/8" lower front, 5/8" lower rear. Front rate essentially unchanged, 23% stiffer rear

Vehicle Fitment
Fits the following BMW models:
- BMW 330i / G20 Sedan (2019-2026): RWD and xDrive
- BMW M340i / G20 Sedan (2020-2026): RWD and xDrive
- BMW M440i xDrive / G22 Coupe (2021-2026): xDrive only
Does not fit the M440i RWD, 330e, 430i, 4 Series Convertible (G23) or 4 Series Gran Coupe (G26).
Installation Notes
Dinan quotes 8.4 hours of labor. This job needs a lift and a spring compressor, so professional installation is recommended. A four-wheel alignment is required after lowering.
- Raise and support the car and remove the wheels.
- Remove the front strut assemblies, compress the springs, and swap in the Dinan front springs on the factory struts.
- Unload the rear suspension and replace the rear springs with the Dinan rear springs.
- Reinstall everything, torque to factory spec, and let the suspension settle.
- Complete a four-wheel alignment at the new ride height.
