Installation Notes
This is a professional install. Dinan lists 9.3 hours of labor, and the job needs a spring compressor and strut removal at both ends of the car. Follow the Dinan instructions and have the car aligned when you are done.
- Raise the car safely and remove the wheels.
- Remove the front and rear strut or shock and spring assemblies.
- Use a proper spring compressor to swap the factory springs for the Dinan springs, fitting the D193-6017 kit components at the same time if you are using them.
- Reinstall the assemblies and torque all fasteners to BMW specification.
- Let the suspension settle, then have a four-wheel alignment done before hard driving.
