Dinan Gloss Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake - BMW G87 M2 / G80 M3 / G82 M4 (2021-2026)
SaleOpen the hood on any S58 car and you see two plastic airboxes feeding two separate ducts. It works. It also leaves airflow on the table and makes the most exciting engine BMW M has built in years look like an appliance. You bought an M car to hear it breathe. You should get to see it breathe too.
The Dinan Gloss Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake replaces that split factory layout on the BMW G87 M2, G80 M3 and G82/G83 M4 with a single shared plenum and enlarged airboxes, all built from real 2x2 twill carbon fiber. On Dinan's flow bench it moves 916 CFM against 815 CFM for the stock system at 28 in. H2O. That is a Dinan-tested 12% airflow gain in the same tight engine bay.
How the Dinan Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Flows More
The factory S58 intake feeds each turbo through its own duct. Dinan joins both paths into one center plenum with 50% more internal volume than the separated stock ducting. Each side feeds an airbox that is 26% larger than stock, fitted with a cotton filter that has 11% more filter area. More volume, more filter area, less restriction between the air and the turbos. The whole assembly sits symmetrically across the bay, so it looks as deliberate as it performs.
This is 100% genuine carbon fiber, not a vinyl wrap or hydro-dipped plastic. The 2x2 twill weave is the structure of the part, finished in a deep gloss clear. If you want the full look, it was designed alongside the Dinan gloss carbon fiber strut tower brace so the two tie together visually.
Dinan Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Install and Legal Status
No cutting, no drilling. It is a bolt-on part with roughly 1.5 hours of labor, and it works on stock or already-modified cars. Before you order, know this: it is not legal for sale or use in the State of California. CARB testing for 50-state compliance is pending, and no CARB Executive Order number has been issued yet. Dinan part number D760-0063. Sold by AutoTecknic, an authorized Dinan dealer.
