These Dinan lug bolts are the M12x1.5 cone seat bolts built for BMW E-chassis cars running Dinan spacers. At 35mm long, they are sized for Dinan's 6mm, 7mm and 8mm spacers, so the bolt reaches as deep into the hub as a factory bolt does on a car without spacers. Steel construction, black zinc coating, and a set of 10 covers two wheels.
Why Dinan Lug Bolts Are Matched to Spacer Thickness
Dinan sells its lug bolts in lengths paired to specific spacer sizes instead of one long bolt for everything. Too short and you lose thread engagement. Too long and the bolt can bottom out behind the hub. The 35mm length here is the one Dinan specifies for 6mm, 7mm and 8mm spacers. If you run a thicker spacer, pick the longer Dinan bolt for that size.

Thread Size and Fitment Check
Thread pitch is the one thing you cannot get wrong. Dinan's guide is simple: E-chassis BMWs use a 5x120 bolt pattern with M12x1.5 lug bolts. F-chassis cars use M14x1.25, and G-chassis cars use M14x1.25 on a 5x112 pattern. An M12x1.5 bolt will not fit an M14x1.25 hub. Check the thread size of your factory bolts before you order. These bolts do not affect emissions.

Vehicle Fitment
Fits by chassis family, per Dinan's spacer and bolt application guide:
- BMW E-chassis with 5x120 bolt pattern and M12x1.5 lug bolts, used with Dinan 6mm, 7mm or 8mm spacers
Exceptions: Dinan states that E39 5 Series and E-chassis X5/X6 applications are unique and are not covered by any Dinan spacer and bolt combination. F-chassis and G-chassis BMWs use M14x1.25 bolts and need a different Dinan bolt.
Installation Notes
Installing lug bolts is basic wheel work, but it is safety-critical. Use a torque wrench, not an impact gun, for final tightening.
- Confirm your factory bolts are M12x1.5 and that your Dinan spacer is 6mm, 7mm or 8mm thick.
- With the car safely supported, remove the wheel and fit the spacer to the hub.
- Mount the wheel and thread each bolt in by hand to avoid cross-threading.
- Tighten in a star pattern to BMW's factory lug bolt torque for your model.
- Recheck torque after the first 50 to 100 miles.
