This Dinan Replacement Air Filter is the correct service filter for the Dinan carbon fiber cold air intake on the BMW G20 3 Series, G22 4 Series, G42 2 Series, G29 Z4 and Toyota GR Supra. It is the same deep-pleated cotton filter that ships in the intake kit, with custom-molded ends shaped to seal inside the Dinan airbox. A filter that does not seal lets dirty air slip past the media and straight to the turbo.

Why a Genuine Dinan Replacement Air Filter Matters

Deep pleats in multi-layered cotton give the filter a large working surface for flow and filtration. A steel wire mesh supports the media so it keeps its shape and resists dents, and the molded ends use every bit of filter area the enlarged Dinan airbox allows. It drops in exactly where the original sat. No trimming, no adapters.

One thing to check first: this filter is for cars already running a Dinan carbon fiber intake. It does not fit the factory BMW or Toyota airbox. Installation Notes

A filter swap takes a few minutes with basic hand tools. Cover the intake opening while the old filter is out so nothing drops toward the turbo.

  1. Open the Dinan airbox lid.
  2. Loosen the clamp and remove the old filter.
  3. Seat the new Dinan filter fully on its mount and tighten the clamp evenly.
  4. Close the airbox and confirm every clamp and coupler is secure.
