This Dinan Replacement Air Filter is the correct service filter for the Dinan B58 carbon fiber cold air intake on the BMW G30 540i, 740i, 840i and the X5, X6 and X7 xDrive40i. It is the same deep-pleated cotton filter the intake ships with, with custom-molded ends that seal into the Dinan airbox so no unfiltered air slips past to the turbo.

Installation Notes
A filter change takes a few minutes with basic hand tools. Cover the turbo inlet while the airbox is open so nothing falls inside.
- Open the Dinan airbox lid.
- Loosen the clamp and remove the old filter.
- Seat the new Dinan filter fully and tighten the clamp evenly.
- Refit the lid and confirm every clamp and coupler is secure.
