Dinan Gloss Carbon Fiber Engine Cover - BMW G80 M3 / G82 M4 / G87 M2 (2021-2026)
SalePop the hood on a G80 M3 or G82 M4 and the S58 looks unfinished. The factory cover sits over the cylinder head, the charge cooler sits beside it at a different height, and the whole bay reads as two parts that never got introduced.
The Dinan carbon fiber engine cover (part number D590-0005) fixes that. It stretches across both the engine and the charge cooler as one piece, so your S58 finally looks symmetrical when you open the hood at a meet. It fits the BMW G80 M3, G82 M4 and G87 M2.
Dinan Carbon Fiber Engine Cover Design
This is real carbon fiber, not a wrap or hydro-dipped plastic. The base is 2x2 gloss twill, with opposing matte twill carbon accents for contrast. Dinan reworked the power hump from the factory cover and added vertical cylinder count callouts, so it looks designed for the car rather than bolted on after the fact.
Install is quick. It replaces the factory cover in the same location, and you move the M emblem and grommets over from your original cover. Dinan rates the job at a quarter hour. No cutting, no drilling, and your stock cover goes on the shelf if you ever want to return to factory.

Installation Notes
About 15 minutes with basic hand tools. Handle the new cover on a soft towel to protect the gloss finish.
- With the engine cool, lift the factory engine cover straight up off its mounting points.
- Remove the M emblem and the rubber grommets from the factory cover.
- Install the grommets and M emblem on the Dinan cover.
- Align the Dinan cover over the mounting points and press down evenly until it seats.
