SaleSpacers are the quickest way to fix the sunken-wheel look on an E-chassis BMW. Push the wheel out 10 or 12mm and the stance changes completely. But the factory bolts were never meant to reach through a spacer, and short thread engagement on a wheel bolt is not a risk worth taking.
These Dinan cone seat lug bolts are M12x1.5 thread at a 39mm length, made for BMW E-chassis cars with the 5x120 bolt pattern running 10mm or 12mm wheel spacers. Steel construction with a black zinc coating, OEM-style cone seat, sold as a set of 10.
Matching Dinan Lug Bolts to Your Spacers
Two things have to match: thread size and length. Dinan's rule of thumb is that E-chassis BMWs use M12x1.5 bolts on a 5x120 pattern, while F-chassis (5x120) and G-chassis (5x112) cars use M14x1.25. There are exceptions. The F9x M5 and M8 and the F48 X1 and F39 X2 follow the G-chassis spec, and the E39 5 Series and E and F chassis X5 and X6 are not covered by Dinan's bolt range.

Vehicle Fitment
Fits BMW vehicles within this chassis family when running 10mm or 12mm wheel spacers:
- BMW E-chassis with 5x120 bolt pattern (M12x1.5 wheel bolt thread)
Exceptions: not for F-chassis 5x120 or G-chassis 5x112 cars (M14x1.25), the F9x M5 and M8, or the F48 X1 and F39 X2. E39 5 Series and E and F chassis X5 and X6 are not covered.
Installation Notes
Fit these at the same time as your 10mm or 12mm spacers. Basic hand tools and a torque wrench are all you need. Check that your wheels use a cone seat before installing.
- Confirm your car is an E-chassis 5x120 BMW with M12x1.5 bolts and that your spacers are 10mm or 12mm.
- Safely raise the car, remove the wheel and clean the hub face.
- Fit the spacer, then mount the wheel and thread each Dinan bolt in by hand to avoid cross-threading.
- Tighten in a star pattern and torque to your BMW's factory wheel bolt specification.
- Re-check torque after the first 50 to 100 miles.
