The Dinan 32mm Tubular Adjustable Front Sway Bar replaces the factory front bar on the BMW E82 1M and E90, E92 and E93 M3. Dinan calls it the Lightweight Tubular Anti-Roll Bar, and it is 50 to 90% stiffer than factory depending on the setting you choose. Less roll means more of the tire stays working, which gives you more mechanical grip and a car that feels settled when you change direction.

The bar has three holes and five possible mounting positions, so you can set it for a comfortable street car or a sharper track setup without buying new parts. The included end links use left and right hand threads, so you can adjust their length on the car with a wrench instead of pulling them off. Because the bar is tubular, it weighs just 17.2 lb, which Dinan rates at 42% lighter than a comparable solid bar.

Dinan Front Sway Bar Install

Installation Notes
An experienced DIYer with a lift or good jack stands can handle this. If you are not comfortable working under the front of the car, have a shop do it. Follow the Dinan instructions included with the bar.
- Raise and support the front of the car safely.
- Disconnect the factory end links and unbolt the factory sway bar brackets.
- Remove the factory bar and fit the Dinan bar using the factory mounting points.
- Install the Dinan end links in your chosen hole and set their length as described in the instructions.
- Torque all fasteners to spec with the car back on its wheels, then test drive.
