Dinan 6mm Wheel Spacers physically move the wheel further out from the hub, giving your wheels the offset needed for the stance you want or the clearance your brake calipers need. Each spacer is machined from billet 6061 aluminum, anodized black, with a 5x112 bolt pattern and a 66.5mm center bore. They are sold as a set of 2, enough for one axle.
Which BMW Chassis These Dinan Wheel Spacers Fit
Dinan sizes its spacers by chassis family. This 5x112 spacer is for BMW G chassis models, which use M14x1.25 lug bolts. Dinan also notes exceptions that use the G chassis spacer fitment, including the F9x M5 and M8 and the F48 X1 and F39 X2. E and F chassis cars that use a 5x120 bolt pattern need a different Dinan spacer.
Lug Bolts, Clearance and Safe Install
Spacers always need longer lug bolts, and they are sold separately. For G chassis cars, Dinan offers M14x1.25 extended bolts in 35mm and 40mm lengths, and the right length depends on your spacer and wheel. Before you drive, check wheel to caliper and wheel to fender clearance with the spacer fitted. Dinan part number D210-2024. Sold by AutoTecknic, an authorized Dinan dealer.

Vehicle Fitment
Fits by chassis family, per Dinan's application guide:
- BMW G chassis models (5x112 bolt pattern, M14x1.25 lug bolts)
- Exceptions that use G chassis spacer fitment: F9x M5 and M8, F48 X1 and F39 X2
Not for E or F chassis models with the 5x120 bolt pattern, other than the exceptions above. Exceptions may not be limited to this list, so contact us with your VIN if you are unsure.
Installation Notes
A basic job for anyone who has changed a wheel, as long as you use the correct extended bolts and a torque wrench.
- Loosen the lug bolts, raise the car safely and remove the wheel.
- Clean the hub face so the spacer sits completely flat.
- Fit the spacer over the hub and mount the wheel with the correct length extended lug bolts.
- Torque the lug bolts to BMW specification in a star pattern.
- Check clearance and recheck lug bolt torque after the first drive.
