SaleFive millimeters sounds like nothing. Then you look at your car from behind and see the wheels sitting a little too far inside the fenders, or a new brake kit needs just a bit more caliper clearance. That is exactly the gap a 5mm spacer closes.
Dinan 5mm Wheel Spacers move each wheel 5mm further out from the hub on BMW E and F chassis cars with the 5x120 bolt pattern and 72.6mm center bore. They are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum, finished in anodized black, and sold as a set of 2 to do one axle.
Why Dinan 5mm Wheel Spacers
Five millimeters is the subtle option. It pulls the wheel just far enough to tidy up the stance or clear a caliper without changing the character of the car. The 72.6mm center bore matches the BMW hub, so the spacer locates on the hub the way your wheel does. Dinan machines each one from 6061 aluminum with a weight saving design, then anodizes it black so it disappears behind the spokes.
Two things to know before you order. First, you need longer lug bolts. Your factory bolts will not reach through a 5mm spacer with enough thread engagement, so buy the correct Dinan bolts with the spacers (listed below). Second, check which bolt pattern your car uses. Dinan groups fitment by chassis family, and some F-chassis cars use the G-chassis 5x112 spacer instead. Dinan part number D210-2035. Sold by AutoTecknic, an authorized Dinan dealer.

Vehicle Fitment
Fits BMW models by chassis family, as published by Dinan:
- BMW E chassis with 5x120 bolt pattern (M12x1.5 lug bolts)
- BMW F chassis with 5x120 bolt pattern (M14x1.25 lug bolts)
Exceptions apply. Dinan lists the F9x M5 / M8 and the F48 X1 / F39 X2 as exceptions: they use the G chassis spacer fitment (5x112, M14x1.25 bolts) and need a different spacer. G chassis cars are not covered by this part. If you are not sure which pattern your car uses, contact us with your VIN before ordering.
Installation Notes
Any DIYer who can change a wheel can fit these. Use a torque wrench, and always use the correct longer bolts.
- Loosen the lug bolts, raise the car safely and remove the wheel.
- Clean any rust or debris from the hub face so the spacer sits flat.
- Slide the spacer over the hub and line up the bolt holes.
- Refit the wheel with the longer Dinan lug bolts and snug them in a star pattern.
- Lower the car, torque the bolts to the factory specification, and recheck torque after the first 50 to 100 miles.
