Designed originally for motorsport applications, the kit uses M14x1.25 hub threads and M14x1.5 external stud threads with matching BMW Motorsport end nuts. Why Studs Over Bolts
Factory wheel bolts require you to hold the wheel in position while threading and starting each bolt by hand, then repeat it across four corners. On studs, the wheel hangs while you run down the nuts. At the track where you're swapping between track and street setups, or in the pits changing a tire, that difference adds up fast. Studs also give you a consistent reference for wheel centering before you've torqued anything down.

Installation Notes
Professional installation is recommended. Stud installation requires pressing the studs into the hub with proper tooling to avoid hub or bearing damage.
- Raise and safely support the vehicle, then remove the wheels
- Remove the factory wheel bolts
- Press the BMW Motorsport studs into the hub using appropriate installation tooling
- Verify stud seating and engagement depth before reinstalling wheels
- Thread the BMW Motorsport end nuts by hand, then torque to BMW specification using a calibrated torque wrench
Do not hammer studs without proper installation tooling as this can damage the hub or wheel bearing.
