The Genuine BMW M Performance Carbon Front Air Inlet Set for the G87 M2 replaces the factory front air inlet trim with carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) components, developed as part of the G87 M2's M Performance exterior package. The CFRP construction saves weight over the standard part while the clear coat finish exposes the carbon weave beneath, adding a motorsport-inspired visual accent to the M2's front fascia. The air inlet geometry is unchanged from the factory specification, maintaining the G87 M2's factory aerodynamic performance while upgrading the appearance.
