Walk up to a parked BMW E46 M3 and the fender gills are right at eye level. Glazing Black is not just a color — it is a finish. A deep, wet-look gloss that reflects light the way factory plastic never could. These AutoTecknic BMW E46 M3 glazing black fender gills use the same OEM clip pattern and dimensional profile as the parts they replace, with a high-gloss finish that holds its look long-term.

Every piece is molded from 100% non-recycled raw ABS plastic, keeping the dimensional accuracy that a proper OEM replacement requires. The retention clips and tabs are built to spec, so the trim seats flush against the fender with no gaps and no float. AutoTecknic individually finishes every unit to achieve that deep gloss tone before it ships. What arrives is ready to install.

Installation Notes

These clip directly into the existing OEM mounting points. A plastic trim pry tool is all you need. Clean the fender recess with isopropyl alcohol before fitting to ensure the clips fully engage on the first press.

  1. Carefully pry the existing fender gill trim outward from the front edge to release the retention clips
  2. Clean the mounting area with isopropyl alcohol and allow to fully dry
  3. Align the replacement trim into the fender recess, lining up all clip tabs with their corresponding holes
  4. Press firmly and evenly along the trim length until all clips engage and the piece sits flush
  5. If installing emblems, press each badge firmly into its designated mounting point on the gill trim
