Pre-preg carbon starts with the resin already infused into the fabric at a controlled ratio. It's then cured under heat and pressure. That makes it lighter and stiffer than wet-layup carbon, and you don't get the resin pooling, pinholes or cloudy patches that cheap carbon parts show up close. The weave stays crisp and even on both inserts, so the left and right sides match when you step back and look at the whole bumper.

Fits the BMW G07 X7 with the M Sport rear bumper:
- BMW G07 X7 Pre-LCI (2019-2022): xDrive40i and xDrive50i (2019) with M Sport package, M50i (2020-2022)
- BMW G07 X7 LCI (2023-2027): xDrive40i with M Sport package, M60i
Not compatible with the non-M Sport (Design Pure Excellence) rear bumper or the Alpina XB7.
Installation Notes
These inserts replace the factory rear bumper side inserts and use the factory mounting points. If you've pulled exterior trim on a BMW before, you can do this in your driveway with plastic trim tools. If you haven't, have a body shop or installer do it. Factory clips break easily, especially in cold weather.
- Wash and dry the rear bumper around both inserts.
- Do one side at a time so the untouched side shows you how the factory insert sits.
- Use plastic trim tools to release the factory insert, working slowly from one edge.
- Move any clips or hardware from the factory insert to the carbon insert if needed.
- Test-fit the carbon insert and check alignment and panel gaps before seating it.
- Press evenly until every clip seats fully, then repeat on the other side.
- Protect the finish like paint, with a pH-neutral wash and a sealant or ceramic coating.
