The AutoTecknic bright red audio volume button replaces the factory volume button on the BMW F97 X3M LCI and F98 X4M LCI with a red accent that fits the M interior. It is a direct OEM replacement, made from precision ABS with a UV and scratch-resistant clear coat, in gloss or satin finish.
A Red Audio Volume Button That Still Lights Up Like Factory
The finish is laser-etched, not painted over. That is the same method BMW uses on its OEM buttons, so the backlight shines through cleanly at night with no color bleed and no hot spots. Vehicle Fitment
Fits LCI models with full iDrive 7:
- BMW X3M / F97 LCI (2022-2023): X3M and X3M Competition
- BMW X4M / F98 LCI (2022-2023): X4M and X4M Competition
Pre-LCI 2020-2021 F97 and F98 models were equipped with iDrive 7 Lite and may not be compatible. Check your model year and iDrive version before ordering.
Installation Notes
A simple swap with no wiring. Use a plastic pry tool so you do not mark the center console trim. The optional install pry kit covers this.
- Carefully pry the factory volume button off with a plastic pry tool.
- Line up the AutoTecknic red button and press it into place.
- Check that the button turns, presses, and backlights correctly.
