iSWEEP Rear Brake Pads - BMW G80 M3 (2021-2026) / G82 M4 (2021-2026) / G83 M4 (2022-2026)
Upgraded the fronts and still cleaning black dust off the rear wheels? The factory rear pads on a G80 M3 or G82 M4 dust just as badly. iSWEEP rear brake pads match your front compound so the whole car stays clean and the brake balance stays predictable.
They're developed and made in Japan and drop straight into the factory M Compound rear calipers, with nothing to modify.
Which G80 M3 / G82 M4 Rear Brake Pad Compound Is Right for You?
IS1500 Street. The lowest-dust, quietest option for a car that lives on the street. Initial bite is softer than the factory metallic pads, and the compound isn't built for repeated hard stops.
IS2000 Street / Sport. The balance most G8X owners settle on, with bite on par with stock, far less dust, and smooth, linear response for spirited driving. If you run IS2000 up front, run it here too.
IS3500 Track (special order). A dedicated race compound for severe track use on R-compound tires. It is not meant for the street.
Endurance (special order). iSWEEP's endurance racing compound. Contact us before ordering and we'll confirm it suits your car, tires, and events.

Installation Notes
A rear pad swap is a straightforward job for anyone who has done brakes before. If you haven't, a shop can handle it quickly. Bedding the new pads in properly matters as much as the install itself.
- Safely lift and support the rear of the car, then remove the wheels.
- Unplug the wear sensor, remove the caliper retaining hardware, and pull the old pads.
- Install the new iSWEEP pads and refit the caliper hardware.
- Fit the new wear sensor if you ordered one. BMW sensors should be replaced along with the pads.
- Pump the brake pedal until it's firm before you drive.
- Bed the pads in with a series of medium-firm stops from about 55 mph down to 35 mph, then a few firmer stops, without coming to a full stop or holding the brakes at a standstill. Finish with an easy 15-minute drive to let them cool.
