The MMX Performance Rear Differential Raised Poly Bush is a two-position polyurethane differential mounting bush for the BMW G87 M2, G80 M3, G81 M3 Touring, G82 M4 and G83 M4. It replaces the factory rear differential mounting bush and can be installed at either the factory differential height or a +10mm raised position, so the same part serves both standard-height and lowered G8X cars.
At OEM height the polyurethane bush gives the rear differential a firmer connection to the chassis, reducing unwanted differential movement under acceleration and changing drivetrain loads with minimal added NVH. On lowered cars the +10mm position raises the rear mounting point to restore driveshaft geometry, which cuts operating angle, heat buildup and premature wear on the axle shafts and CV joints. It installs into the factory mounting location without modification, works with OEM and aftermarket axle shafts, and suits road and track use.
The bush is part of the MMX G8X differential mounting system. One bush with the MMX Rear Differential Billet Front Cradle Mount (MMR55-1604) makes a three-point setup; two bushes with the cradle and the MMX Dual Differential Mount (MMR55-1606) make a full four-point setup, where the second bush occupies the rear mounting location the factory leaves unused. Configure every component at the same OEM or +10mm position.
