MINI's Dynamic Damper Control system continuously adjusts the factory dampers based on driving mode and road inputs. When you replace those dampers with the KW V2, the DDC system expects to communicate with hardware that is no longer there -- and it will throw a warning light to let you know. The included DDC cancellation unit provides a valid electronic signal to the system so your dash stays clear. From there, the V2's 16-click rebound adjuster lets you tune ride quality independently of your ride height, giving you real control over how the car feels whether you are commuting or attacking roundabouts.

Installation Notes
Professional installation is strongly recommended. The DDC cancellation unit must be fully integrated before first startup -- the Dynamic Damper Control system will generate a fault and potentially restrict vehicle operation if it detects missing damper response. Do not connect power to the vehicle before the cancellation unit is installed.
- Set desired ride height before final torque on locking collars
- Install DDC cancellation unit per included instructions before reconnecting electronics
- Perform four-wheel alignment immediately after installation
- Allow 500-mile break-in period before adjusting rebound damping to final preference
