The 997 Cabriolet is a different machine than the coupe, structurally and electronically. The open-top chassis routes PASM wiring differently, and the module calibration reflects the soft-top's unique dynamic requirements. A 997 coupe PASM cancellation kit won't do it here. Porsche built a distinct system for the Cabriolet and KW built a distinct kit to address it.

This cancellation kit is engineered specifically for the 997 Cabriolet, not adapted from the coupe solution. It interfaces with the factory PASM harness at the correct points for the convertible chassis, simulates the expected damper signals, and keeps the module from registering faults when you run aftermarket coilovers. The rest of your electronics stay exactly where they should be.

Key Features

  • Eliminates PASM fault codes and warning lights with aftermarket coilovers on the 997 Cabriolet
  • Plug-and-play connection to the existing factory adaptive damper wiring harness
  • Simulates correct OEM PASM damper signals specific to the 997 convertible chassis
  • Preserves full operation of PSM stability control and other driver aids
  • 997 Cabriolet-specific engineering, separate from and not interchangeable with the 997 coupe kit
  • No coding, programming, or module modifications required

Vehicle Fitment

Required for aftermarket coilover installations on PASM-equipped:

  • Porsche 911 Carrera / Carrera S Cabriolet (997) 2005-2012: All PASM-equipped convertible variants

Installation Notes

Plug-and-play installation. No coding or module programming required. This kit is specific to the 997 Cabriolet body style. Coupe and targa owners need the separate 997 coupe kit. Confirm PASM is equipped before ordering.

  1. Confirm your 997 is a Cabriolet body style and is PASM-equipped (check option codes or window sticker)
  2. Install aftermarket coilovers per KW manufacturer instructions
  3. Connect KW PASM cancellation kit to the existing adaptive damper harness connectors specific to the Cabriolet chassis
  4. Clear stored fault codes after installation is complete
