The KW ESC module intercepts the EDC adaptive damper signals from your X3 or X4's control system and translates them into real adjustment commands on the KW damper adjusters. Switch to Sport in iDrive and the KW coilovers respond. Switch to Comfort and they ease off. The lowering and KW quality you wanted, with every EDC mode fully working.
