These springs drop the M5 7/8" in front and 3/4" in the rear. That's not a cosmetic change. Lower ride height places the suspension geometry in a more favorable position for hard cornering and high-speed driving, putting the tire contact patch where it needs to be when it matters most. The 10% increase in spring stiffness directly attacks the two confidence killers in aggressive driving: brake dive under threshold braking and rear squat under hard acceleration. The front stays flatter when you're stopping, the rear stays planted when you're going, and the steering response improves because body roll isn't masking what the chassis is actually doing.

Dinan CNC winds these springs from high tensile chrome silicon wire and shot-peens each one for stress relief. The result is a spring that holds its rate and its ride height over the life of the car, without the spring sag that degrades aftermarket spring performance over time.

They're compatible with both conventional and factory electronic shock absorbers, so no damper upgrade is required to get the setup right.

Installation Notes

Professional installation recommended. Spring replacement requires full removal of the strut assembly. A 4-wheel alignment is required after installation to restore proper suspension geometry.

  1. Remove front and rear strut assemblies from the vehicle
  2. Use a spring compressor to safely swap factory springs for Dinan springs
  3. Reassemble and reinstall strut assemblies
  4. Perform a full 4-wheel alignment before driving
