The Dinan Carbon Fiber Front Strut Tower Brace closes that gap.
The brace ties the two front strut towers together using aerospace-quality carbon fiber rods connected to black powdercoated forged aluminum ends. Those ends bolt directly to the factory strut tower mounting points. No drilling, no fabrication, nothing modified on the car. When the carbon fiber is under load, it resists the deflection that the factory open-top structure allows, and the result is more direct, precise feedback through the steering. The car responds to inputs faster because the connection between the front suspension and the chassis is now more rigid.
Carbon fiber was chosen specifically for its stiffness-to-weight ratio. Steel alternatives add chassis rigidity at the cost of unsprung and front-end mass. The carbon fiber construction adds structural integrity without the weight penalty, keeping the front end balanced.
Works with the full Dinan suspension system or stock components. Compatible across the entire E60 5 Series and E63/E64 6 Series platform, including the M5 and M6.

Installation Notes
Straightforward bolt-on installation using the factory strut tower mounts. No modification to the vehicle required.
- Remove any engine bay components blocking access to both front strut tower mounting points
- Position the Dinan brace across the engine bay and align the forged aluminum ends with factory strut tower bolt locations
- Install hardware and torque to factory specifications
- Reinstall any previously removed engine bay components
