Iridium is the right base material for a performance spark plug — 152% higher melting point than silver, 125% higher than copper, and 38% higher than platinum, with a copper core for heat dissipation. Dinan's B48/B58/S58 iridium plug runs a heat range 9, one step colder than OEM for Gen 1 B48, Gen 1/2 B58, and S58 applications. Its projected insulator design and optimized electrode geometry fire reliably on pump gas, E30, or E85 without pre-ignition — exactly what modified B-series engines need. Installs at 17 Nm, pairs directly with Dinan ignition coils. Sold individually.
