The LCI X7's front bumper is built around two big lower air ducts, one on each side of the grille. From the factory, the trim that frames the top of each duct is plain black plastic. The AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Front Air Duct Trim replaces both pieces with real carbon weave, tracing the duct from the edge of the grille out and down toward the corner of the bumper. It's the line your eye follows across the front of the car, and now it's carbon.
This isn't a wrap, a hydro-dipped plastic part or a printed carbon pattern. Each trim is 100% genuine pre-preg dry carbon fiber in a gloss twill weave, shaped to match the factory part. The left and right sides come as a matched pair, so the weave lines up on both sides of the car.
Pre-Preg Dry Carbon Front Air Duct Trim, Shaped to the Factory Part
Pre-preg carbon starts with the resin already infused into the fabric at a controlled ratio. It's then cured under heat and pressure. That makes it lighter and stiffer than wet-layup carbon, and you don't get the resin pooling, pinholes or cloudy patches that cheap carbon parts show up close. Each trim runs about 16 inches across the bumper, so the weave quality is on full display.
Built for the LCI Front Bumper Only
These trims copy the shape, profile and mounting tabs of the factory LCI pieces. There's no added aero and no change to the bumper's silhouette. The Pre-LCI X7 uses a completely different front bumper, so these fit 2023 and newer LCI models only.

Not compatible with the Pre-LCI X7 (2019-2022), the non-M Sport front bumper or the Alpina XB7.
Installation Notes
These trims replace the factory front air duct trims and install from the front with a plastic pry tool. No bumper removal needed. If you've pulled exterior trim on a BMW before, you can do this in your driveway. If you haven't, have a body shop or installer do it. Factory clips break easily, especially in cold weather.
- Wash and dry the front bumper around both air ducts.
- Do one side at a time so the untouched side shows you how the factory trim sits.
- Use a plastic pry tool to release the factory trim, working slowly from one end.
- Test-fit the carbon trim and check alignment and panel gaps before seating it.
- Line up the mounting tabs and press evenly until every tab seats fully, then repeat on the other side.
- Protect the finish like paint, with a pH-neutral wash and a sealant or ceramic coating.
