Answers to common questions about payments, charges, and refunds.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Sales tax is collected in states where AutoTecknic is required to by law. The applicable rate is automatically calculated at checkout based on your shipping address — if sales tax applies to your order, it will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.

International customers: If you are outside the United States, you may be subject to taxes, duties, or customs fees imposed by your government. These are not collected by AutoTecknic and are the responsibility of the customer. Please check with your local customs authority before ordering.
I have a question about my charges.

You can review all your orders and charges by logging into your account and visiting the My Account / Order Status page. Your full order history, including itemized charges, is available there at any time.

Still have questions? If something doesn't look right after reviewing your order history, please contact our customer service team and we'll look into it right away.
I need a copy of my receipt or invoice.

A receipt is automatically emailed to you when your order is placed. You can also access and download invoices for any past order by logging into your account.

When will my refund or credit appear on my account?

Once your return has been received and inspected, refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days. You will be notified by email once your refund has been issued.

Store credit (e-gift card)

Prefer store credit? We can issue your refund as an AutoTecknic e-gift card.

Note: All returned items are inspected before a refund or credit is issued. Please refer to our return policy for full eligibility details.
When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card is authorized at the time you place your order and charged before your item ships. You will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

How do promotional or sale discount codes work?

During sales and promotional events, discounts are automatically applied at checkout — no code needed. Just add your items to the cart and the discount will be reflected in your order total.

For specific coupon codes, enter your code in the discount field at checkout before completing your purchase.

Heads up: Only one discount code can be applied per order. Promotional discounts cannot be combined with other offers unless otherwise stated.
